We provide 24/7 support for your hire!

While our kitchens and catering equipment are out on hire, they are covered by our technical support service. Our technical support line is open 24/7 (even on Christmas Day!), so we are always here and ready to help.

Our dedicated team of catering equipment engineers know our catering equipment inside out and can fix almost any problem. Every item of our catering equipment has its own unique barcode which gives us access to detailed records of each individual item and can help our engineers pinpoint any potential problems.

If something goes wrong with an item of equipment while it's on hire, our engineers will first carry out a detailed diagnosis over the phone - 75% of faults are solved in this way, so it saves you time and money. If a callout is needed, we stock a full range of spare parts on site, so our engineers can fix any problems super fast. If an item of equipment really has given up the ghost, we can quickly send you a replacement from our fleet of 9,000 items of kit, so there's always a backup plan!

For most technical support requests, we have a 24 hour response time, though if you call us before 10am we can usually get an engineer out to you on the same day. For emergency problems where your kitchen isn't operational or if you have a major refrigeration failure, we send an engineer straight away. While they won't ride in to save you on a white horse, our engineers will arrive in a van stocked with spare parts and tools. Probably slightly more useful.

For larger or more complex projects, you will also have the option of being provided with an extremely fancy personalised eHandover Pack. This is a bright red, shiny tablet pre-loaded with your delivery note, detailed health and safety information, delivery schedule, site drawings, equipment schedule and commissioning sheets, plus individual user manuals for each item of equipment. This will be your first line of defence against kitchen confusion and equipment gremlins - ideal for big events where there's lots going on and you need the info right at your fingertips!
